Welcome to The Founding!

Welcome to The Founding Blog! Provided by the American Heritage Education Foundation (AHEF), The Founding Blog is a proprietary online content library that features essays, articles, videos, and lesson ideas on America’s founding principles–largely informed by AHEF’s original, groundbreaking research–for teachers, students, scholars, and citizens. The blog explores key ideas of Western Civilization and America’s founding documents, philosophy, and history, giving special attention to the influence of the Bible on America’s foundations.
The Founding Blog seeks to promote the understanding and teaching of America’s founding principles and philosophy in order to preserve the American idea and to help restore an educated citizenry in our self-governing republic. It also aims to provide a greater understanding and appreciation of what it means to be an American.
The following is a current list of topics and posts that appear on the blog:

Introductory Educational Activity: America Succeeds by Freedom, Unity, Progress, & Responsibility (FUPR)
AHEF supports the ideas of Freedom, Unity, Progress, and Responsibility (FUPR). We believe that without the teaching and learning of these four formula concepts, America, as we know it, is at risk. For more information on FUPR, see http://americanheritage.org/index.php/en-us/fupr.
